A simply wonderful, wonderful shave this evening. This was my best straight shave yet. I brought the Geneva to the ceramic stone this evening for a little touchup, and then stropped on a leather belt. I have a strop en route, but it hasn't arrived yet, so I've been making do with a newspaper strop. Tonight I took an old belt out and gave it a try, and it really seems to have worked well. A very smooth 2 passes with the straight, no nicks, no dings, no worries. I finished up with the DE because I am pretty tired of cutting the back of my head. When my technique improves, and my razors have been properly honed and stropped, I'll try the ATG again. Until then, I'm finishing up with the DE to avoid more damage...

Green day
Solid shave today, though not very comfortable. I think this Rapira SS may be a dud - not nearly as smooth as the first one I tried. Maggard's Limes & Bergamot lathered up easy and thick, and For Flint kept the citrus scent going while also calming my slight irritation from the blade.
Prep: Body Shop Tea Tree face wash
Soap: Maggard's Limes & Bergamot
Brush: HIS
Razor: Merkur Futur
Blade: Rapira SS (2)
AS: TtFFC For Flint
