Vetiver Tuesday
• Tabula Rasa Vetiver and Tangerine Shaving Soap.
• Royall Vetiver after shave.
• Simpson Chubby 2 Best Badger shaving brush.
• Face shave, I used the Gold Dollar 209 honed by The Stallion.
• Head shave I used the Gillette slim adjustable DE.
• The finishing touches, Creed Original Vetiver cologne spray.
Killer Shave this morning, Tabula Rasa is a really awesome soap. There is a perfect combination of natural ingredients in this soap that is designed to nurture skin, it leaves my skin soft, smooth, and healthy. It is also formulated to work for even sensitive and allergy-prone skin. The Notes are what the label states, fresh, clean and simple Vetiver and Tangerine scent.

Chris, I see we share a common favourite scent in soap! I have to concur with you in that it is one of the most wonderfully combined scents I have used.  

Not only does it smell great, and last a while afterwards, but the soap made the Kai blade perform much better than yesterday. Could be the second day thing, or the effect of a great soap. Either way I got a great shave. I've ordered two more MW soaps for the summer.

My first BBS with a straight! I never really expected it, but with only a couple touchup swipes over the back of my right ear, I finally managed to get my first BBS shave with a straight razor. I've had fairly good luck achieving DFS, but this is my first legitimate BBS shave with a straight. So Stoked!

When it comes time to make my box elder scales to match this brush, it might just have to be this razor, unless by some miracle I find one I like better...
