Unger, you are absolutely correct on both points. I have owned both aromatique and imperiale. They are both nice and strong scents. We may never see them again released, unfortunately.
FACE WASH * Harry's Peppermint Exfoliating Face Wash in a hot shower
PRE SHAVE * Cremo Original Shaving Cream (rubbed in well)
RAZOR * Merkur Progress (4.0-5.0)
BLADE * Gillette 7 O'clock (Yellow) SharpEdge
BRUSH * Fine Synthetic (Works great with creams)
SOAP * Castle Forbes Lime + TOBS Grapefruit (Great mix of creams. The lime tones down the intense grapefruit)
BOWL * Supply Provisions Marble
AFTERSHAVE BALM * Sapone Di Paolo Arancione (Orange)
AFTERSHAVE SPLASH * Stirling Lime (What can I say....today was a "citrus blast")
SHAVE * BBS (3 Pass with Schick ST2 extremely minor touchup)

How is this Zenith synthetic?
Zenith synth is a wonderful brush. Very good backbone, soft edges, no funky smell, it dries up relatively quickly.
But, I must admit, I have no experience with other brushes, never used a badger / boar / horse, so I'm not very objective
I love my Zenith synth
Are you thinking on buying one ?
Thursday.
