Evening shower and shave today.
Let the whiskas go a couple days, while anticipating my first round of “Hallows” from B&M.
I missed it last year, and just did double up on this season’s batch, so, it’s been mostly imagination, and the reviews of others, I’ve had to go on.
Can dis guy Will cook...or what?
I have, and like, a number of B&M’s scents, but, there have been expensive misses for me too. Unless a scent is fairly plain, or old and widely used, you really never know what you’re gonna get. And the more exotic and complex the scent (including it’s name), the harder it is to imagine—before you buy—even if one reads the reviews. Accurate descriptions of today’s scents aren’t easy either.
Still, Hallows really is, for me, in a class by itself.
Pretty awesome, and seems a cross between their Rhapsody and Fougere Gothique. A spicey-sweet scent, with a bit o’ boneyard dirt...or spooky, fired brimstone...
Even has a bit of burned wood to it I’d say. Simply not simple...but intoxicating...for as long as it lingers.
Thanks Will!
Cleaned up the Timeless Bronze razor, and loaded a new PolSilver for a change. Very smooth on fully recovered skin.
After the usual post routine, i slapped on the matching AS.
Wow...
