Today, deviated from my recent experimenting with cartridges -- I've been finding cartridges so easy to use but, in general, the shave is just not as close as with a DE.  So went back to a DE, the WR1, to get a closer shave.  Fine fine shave.  I wasn't intending to use the recently arrived T+S Spicy Fougere set but after I had shaved with the Vanilla Safi, I changed my mind from what I intended to use as the aftershave (Summer Break History 101) and grabbed the Spicy Fougere.  The name is quite accurate and I have to say that this is a one great holiday scent.

This is the first time I used the new vegan base, and I am impressed. Excellent base. The scent on Black Wood is quite nice but on the mild side. I may need to pick up the Rirana EdP.
