SOTD-01sep16:
The Single Edge / Mystery Blade
Vie Long Silvertip Beehive(the tips of this brush are as soft as they look in the picture!)
Wilkinson Sword Shaving Soap Stick
Fine American Blend Aftershave

SEptember begins. I will try to stick with it, but I tend to pick the SOTD on a whim most days. We'll see how it goes.(I am a little fickle, so.... Big Grin)

Wash - Meissner Tremonia Puristic
Prep - Noxzema / Hot towel
Pre shave - Prep
Razor – Barbaros TR-1
Blade – Lord Platinum
Brush - 'Jade' (Rooney Heritage 2XL Jade)
Soap – OSP Eucalyptus + Menthol
Post - Witch Hazel

what a difference a blade makes... and soap!...the Lord/OSP combo provided a very comfortable, BBS shave with the Barbaros. I think the Nanny’s Traditional Moroccan Sands is going to have to be used with the Hone, which provides a milder, more forgiving shave..

- Merkur 37C+Gillette Silver Blue
- Alvarez Gómez
- Plisson L'Occitane
- Cien Ice+Nuxe balm

I chose a Silver Blue this morning so as to compare it with the fresh memories of the Polsilvers I have been using lately, and I have to say that, at least in the Slant, I prefer the Polsilvers. They are a tad sharper and equally mellow. It is likely that in the Edwin Jagger is the other way around and I prefer the Silver Blue over the Polsilver. I remember very good shaves with the 89 head and the Silver Blues. Gotta give them a go one of these days.

All in all, a great three pass shave with an incident free BBS outcome. The Alvarez Gómez cream could be my one and only shaving product. I find it extremely slick and protective, with a very nice and soothing post shave.

Started off my "Schick September" with some class. The type-O always gives me a smooth BBS. First time with the Wolf Whiskers and I'm impressed. The 1912 cashmere smells like Mike's Barbershop to me. Fantastic shave all around.
