Hobbits Resting in Rivendell
Today in Middle Earth, 11/1/3018, the Hobbits are resting with Elrond in Rivendell. They still don't really understand what they are in for, and the Council is gathering.  This was a great shave, day 8 on this blade. It was still going strong, but I'm replacing it for my next shave. Maybe the woman on the Beaudelaire label is Arwen?

Great face and dome shave today. Broke out the new/old razor acquired at the Shave Collectibles Mtg in Cincinnati last month. It delivered a smooth DFS leaving me feeling clean and refreshed.

RAZOR: Barbasol Floating Head

Got the matching splash in so gave Oaken Lab Conservatory a run this AM. Scent on this one is stronger than Earth of Mankind but more delicate/light in nature. Scent description is "Delicate botanicals, Glasshouse Neroli, & Rolling fog". It's a floral off the puck with hints of Neroli. When lathered, I assume it's the rolling fog coming through adding a nice base that smooths or warms it a tad.

Scent strength on the splash is up there but mellows once it dries down and has more of a warmer undertone than the soap. After dry down it does have a good sillage and has received me several compliments. I'm still on the fence with it but it is growing on me. If in close working quarters with others who may be sensitive to fragrances I would use lightly. Overall it's a very nice scent and provided a great shave to end the week.
