Having had, in past days, a rather unpleasant experience with some Rapira Swedish Super Steel blades, and a not so good experience with some Treet Durasharp (blue box) in some other occasion, I had a well-grounded reluctancy to try blades that didn't had the wise hand of Gillette behind them. But hearing so much praise of these Voskhod made me give them a go, and I just might have found my go-to blades, plain and simple. Together with this Maggard OC head and with the protection granted by the soap, I barely felt the blade. I could feel the outstanding result on my skin when I finished, though.
