File under never say never. Swee-Do/trimmed Feather Super Pro, Clark Improved King/Gem PTFE+twin half Rockwell DE blades.

The Swee-Do is an easy fit for an injector or trimmed AC blade, yields an excellent shave, a bit mild even with the sharp AC blade.

The modern Gem blade won't fit under the cap as the proprietary Clark blade did, but it will kinda on top, a fit with not much exposure but lots of gap. A half DE blade will fit under the cap with some fiddling and in the spirit of two is better than one and what's the worst that could happen I used two under the cap plus the Gem on top. This actually worked well enough on my beard and for clean ups after using the Swee-Do on my head.

Think I'll have a drink, it's five o'clock somewhere.

I am back to posting SOTD images after taking a few days off and staying at a nearby air-conditioned hotel while temperatures reached 108 degrees F. Wow. I just let my whiskers grow in the interim.

The water was so hot that it melted the razor handle.
Either that, or it's from the cheap-ass clip-on wide-angle lens. Yeah, probably that.

This was a treat, using a Feather in the Henson for the first time.
I don't normally care for Feathers. I was going to let my inventory of them run out, but now I think I'll get a couple of tucks of them with my next shaving supplies purchase just for use in the Henson.
