Happy Birthday Freddy and Happy New Year I hope you had a great day equal to the great shave you started it with.  

I quite like the Steampunk soap but can't get hold of the aftershave.  No Canadian vendor stocks it and the Feds won't allow aftershave with alcohol in it to cross the border because we Canadians will likely drink it without paying excise tax on booze.

Just a pleasant two pass shave today. I think I over-watered the Fireside, but the lather was still yogurty and slick. I was able to really appreciate the scent of this soap for the first time today and I agree, it's much too boozy to be an aftershave! I noted the wine and cedar the most, it's very well done. I finished up with Lavanille.

Even though the Spartans got crushed yesterday, the season was still a success and part of the best decade ever for football at my alma matter. #reachhigher
