Yukon Cornelius finally struck gold! I used US salve as a preshave with great results. The lather was optimal, as usual. If you have not tried Tabac Balsam, you really should. It is one of the best aftershaves I've used, and it's an incredible value as so little goes a long way, and it can be had for less than ten bucks.
