Proraso White tub today. 20 seconds to load the John’s Brushes Silvertip. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Personna 74 Tungsten in the Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Country Club Frozen Vetiver aftershave (perfect match).

Parker 60R Butterfly Razor (pre 2010)
Gillette 7 O'clock Super Platinum Blade (India)
Omega 266 Badger Effect Bristle Brush
Vintage Safari Shave Soap
Safari AS

Since Wednesday is errand/shopping day for me I got up at the crack of dawn to start getting ready. As I went through my shave gear to see what else I need to thin out (I have been doing this for a while. I’ve been afraid “Hoarders Buried Alive” might show up,) I noticed an old Parker 60R butterfly razor I bought years ago. I always liked it so I took it out to use. This is one that was made before they had that great Parker Head Upgrade of 2010. Honestly, I never had any complaints with the performance of this razor. It along with the 7 o’clock blade from India gave a terrific shave. This razor I will keep. I have a couple of those Omega Badger effect boar brushes. The tips are softer than most of the lower priced badgers I have tried. Hmmm…better keep one of these also. I bought the Safari soap on Amazon about 3 years ago. I used the heck out of it then vacuum sealed a small amount for future use. Well, today is the future so I used it up along with what I had left of some old Safari AS. I’ll be the best smelling guy in CostCo this morning.
