Yesterday, my thought was repeating with the Cella this evening, but this evening turned out to be hotter and I felt like a needed some extra cooling after my shower, so I took the Lea Classic and its pleasant menthol out, but I also did remember how well it worked alongside its cousin, the Lea stick, some day that I decided that the tallow in the stick could probably help the cream adding some extra slickness. And you bet it did work. This time, it was exactly the same. The subtle sandalwood and menthol scent of the cream helps mitingating the cheap lemon dishwasher of the stick. All in all, the resulting scent is, again, quite soft and not something you feel during the whole shave, but the lather works superbly and the menthol is present, yet it doesn't bother you. A win-win combination. Some of my beefed up Speick (extra hammamelis and menthol) and DFS. No need for a balm this time, the soap and the cream have both good post shave performance and made it unnecesary. Two passes (WTG+XTG)+touchups, and BBS.
