Superb Shave
I finally found the angle with this Gold Dollar today - with more practice I can imagine getting a BBS in one pass. As it was, I got a superb shave in two passes - one with the GD, and one with the Futur on five. The scent of Casablanca is excellent - classy, complex and confidence inspiring. The rose and tobacco notes dance together very well. The lather is top notch and easy to make with my Lather Monster. The aftershave is soothing and carries the great scent very well. I also used my strop from Shave Shop for the first time. I don't know how well I did it, but I'm for it based on the results of this shave.
Prep: warm shower, Kiehl's Calendula Face Wash, Proraso White

Post - Witch Hazel

My last encounter with a Kai was with the Weber, and a little on the harsh side. So this time I've chosen the Merkur, much better, and no problem getting BBS
