Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.
Best shave of the week this morning! Returned to Martin De Candre and their exceptional "Fougère" shave soap. First lather with a synth brush and I was amazed with how easy the brush loaded. Sometimes synths aren't the best choice for use with harder soaps but this was surprisingly easy. Great scent with incredibly creamy and slick lather built with the Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "Peregrino" synth for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '58 Gillette Super Speed, and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by Pitralon Classic aftershave lotion and Penhaligon's "English Fern" EdT.
