Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Great shave this morning. Returned to Saponificio Varesino and their excellent "Cubebe" shave soap and ASL. Wonderful scent with a citrus top that morphs into a woody sweetness in the drydown. Great lather built with the Paladin "PK-47" 2-Band Badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '57 Gillette Red Tip and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by the matching aftershave lotion, a dusting of Yardley "Gentleman Classic" talc & Chanel "Bleu de Chanel" Parfum.

Yes, the Ugly Duckling of the pack but, it was a Swan of a shave! It’s not the prettiest, is high maintenance and it has a whole lot of bulk but, the shave is impeccably fantastic every single time.
