Aftershave: Hendrix Classics & Company Emperor Oud
Continuing my exploration of Hendrix Classics & Company's offerings, today I chose Emperor Oud. What can I say but boy was I blown away? Seriously though. If you're reading this, you have to pick up this set. The Oud in this software is phenomenal! I can hardly see a man out there not liking this scent. So, if you like Oud, you for sure need to get this. If you're not sure that you'll like Oud, let me tell you, you will! Now go get this set.
My tool of choice today was the much-loved Blackland Era. With the level 5 safety bar base plate installed, I did a three-pass shave and got a really smooth, efficient shave with just a touch of blade feel. I have to say, it was a nice feeling to revisit this razor. I do wish I had both level 4 base plates though as it would be cool to choose from both level 4 and 5 sets based on my daily preference.
I also went with the new to me Ever-Ready 100 brush that was restored and given to me by a friend. It's not a fancy brush by any means but it did a great job whipping up lather in my Fine Lather Bowl. I'm very pleased with this brushes' performance and am thankful to have it in my collection.
With all else said and done, I applied some Emperor Oud aftershave and was blissfully surrounded by the glorious fragrance. It's a real winner for sure.
I really can't recommend HC&C and this Emperor Oud software enough. If you've not given the brand a chance, you really should.
Alright, my good people. That's all for today. Thanks for reading. Take care of yourselves and enjoy your shaves.
