One of the rescued FR razors with a perfect regrind done long ago…edge off of the light gray 7x2.5 Hohenzollern Abziehsteine was also perfect. Great way to start the week!
And in other news…I am starting to get the hang of cooking with cast iron skillets!

Preshave: Hot shower
Soap/Shave cream: Proraso Green
Brush: Perfecto Badger
Razor: Vikings Blade Emperor Meiji
Blade: Astra SP (1)
Post shave: Gillette Gel
Maiden voyage for the Meiji. Beautiful razor. One of the complaints is blade alignment but mine is perfect. Having said that, it wasn't the smoothest shave I've ever had, at least in the neck area. I'll fiddle more with the adjustments and may try a milder blade next time. And I might need a technique adjustment as well.
In all, a decent shave but not a great one.
Razor: Schick C1 Simplified Automatic Razor
Blade: Personna Injector
Brush: Simpson Colonel X2L in Manchurian badger
Pre-Shave: Proraso White
Lather: Truefitt & Hill Apsley
Aftershave: Pinaud Lilac Vegetal
Additional Care:
Thayers Facial Tonic Witch Hazel Unscented
Imperial Leather Talcum Powder
