After a long, taxing and even exasperating, but productive day, I was shooting for a CCS and ended up with a DFS. Chiseled Face Groomatorium’s Trade Winds is the perfect scent for making the day melt away and putting a relaxed smile on one’s face while it transports you to a distant place.

This shave started off rough - I used too much water, so the lather took more work. More importantly, I realized after one cheek that the Voskhod blade I was using was a dud - tugging and scratchy feeling. I switched to a Rapira and the rest of the shave was fine. I used B-M Reserve Cool to tend to the scratchy feeling, and Cologne Russe for the amazing scent. One of the benefits of the Reserve is the short-lived scent that does not clash with others.
Prep: Myrsol Emulsion

Razor: Futur 6-5
Blade: Rapira Super Stainless
AS: B-M Cologne Russe and Reserve Cool
