So, how did you go about comparing these? Different lather on opposing sides of your face?

Given the bronze lid to the AdP, that's the reformulation and thus hardly a comparison. Still an outstanding performer.

In the realm of Colonia dupes, Shiloh by Oleo Soapworks does a fantastic job with the scent reproduction and it's boldly scented as well. The canard base is tops, too! You've probably already used it, I would imagine.

EDIT: My mistake. That is indeed the original Colonia tub (with a metallic lid). I was viewing it on mobile and it looked like the new flat brown lid. You have a sought after tub there, sir!
