I almost didn't buy CP because my soap collection is seriously out of hand. I'm glad I picked it up. It's awesome!!! It's a very well blended floral, slightly less sweet to me than Mayflower, with a note that reminds me of long grass. There's a similar note in Roam which I like. It really gives this soap some depth. Really beautiful work here. I love this L&L/ CL collaboration. They are hitting it out of the park.

Due to the infamous weather we're having in the north of Spain, with a relentless rain, storms and a sky more typical of February than of June, I felt like this soap was a fine choice for the occasion. This L&L is a well tamed Vetiver, in no way as potent as the Eufros "Vetiver de Haití", but much milder. There is a citric and earthy note as well that goes well with the Vetiver. Scent strength is moderate, so it makes for a good Fall scent. I know it's summer, but it just doesn't look like it over here. If things are still like this tomorrow morning, I might pick up the Tabac puck from the bottom of my cabinet.
The shave was excellent, nonetheless, because the soap so is. Three passes and a BBS outcome.
- L&L Marshlands
- Edwin Jagger Kelvin+Silver Blue
- Plisson L'Occitane
