Unconditionally Superb Shave
The Vision decimated two days worth of steel wool stubble in comfort, thanks to optimal lather. My face feels and smells great.

CRSW “Original” Bergamot & Bay today. 20 seconds to load the Ever-Ready 50R/TGN Premium Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette Platinum-Plus still in the Gillette Fat Handle Tech. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Bulgari Blu aftershave.

Thoughts: Great shave with my Charcoal Goods Level 2. Very smooth, and comparably efficient to the other razors in my arsenal. West of Olympia has produced an excellent soap in Envy - the lather has a nice yogurt-like texture, is noticeably slick, and has wide water tolerance band. The scent is definitely not for everybody: the clove and anise notes make sure of that. I confess being dumbfounded by the scent - at first sniff, it smells like the citrus-pine combo in Delor de Treget... but the clove makes an appearance... and did I catch a hint of white florals? I don't know what to make out of it... yet. But I do know that Garrett (the proprietor of West of Olympia) has done a wonderful job executing his creative vision for Envy.
