A good shave was had with some old standards and a new blade.

I had gotten some Voshkod blades for Christmas. I think I tried them early on, but at that point I didn't like anything. Lol.

I resolved to give them another try, if for no other reason than the fact that they were a gift and they deserve a fair shot.

I used my old standards: The Henson Ti Medium, Stirling Glacial Post Shave Balm (for pre and post application), CBL Premium Sir Fougere, and my original Graydog brush.

As of recent I have been forcing myself to slow down. I believe it was BPman who suggested irritation I was getting was likely frome rushing to shave. So, now I apply the soap and let it sit on the face for a full 10 minutes. It has been, knock on wood, magic for the past few months.

Thus was the case here. The Voshkod, while mild, did the job well. The shave was good and comfortable and while not BBS, still plenty acceptable.
