Honestly, I can’t remember off the top of my head what type of knot it sports. I’d have to take a look at my history in purchasing from AliExpress. The knot feels quite soft on the skin while having just a slight bit of backbone for working in the brush into the hairs. It’s a very comfortable brush that holds warmth and builds lather quickly & effortlessly. Overall I have found it to be an excellent value. Hopefully it works out well for you and delivers what you’re looking for… Happy2
