Stirling Gentleman today. 20 seconds to load the Elite Razor/TGN Grade A Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette Platinum-Plus still in the Gillette Slim. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Gentleman aftershave.

Had a fantastic shave all around this morning! 

I was always hesitant on the Asian Plumb due to not being able to fathom how it could be a masculine scent. Since the day I got it I've been hooked! Just a wonderful performer with a scent that always gets me compliments from the wife and others. The splash was a tad sweet when first applied but the dry down is perfect! One of my top sets! 

The Karve has become my go to razor. The 3.5 handle married to the C plate with a GSB blade is perfect for me! BBS everytime! I also have the B plate which is a hair less aggressive but also provides a great shave. Love the look of polished brass! 

Lather was built with my Loveyourshave/Geoff Anderson combo. Vladimir at Love your shave makes absolutely gorgeous brushes! This one in particular is Spalted oak with faux tortoise shell. Pics do it no justice! The knot from GA is one of my favorites and of all my badgers, sees the most love. Just perfect in feel, flow through, retention, and back bone!

I used the more aggressive RS-10 plate this time, and I found that with the SI blade it is equal in efficiency to my Wolfman standard gap razors and more effective than - but not quite as smooth as - the Paradigm II Titanium. All of that is influenced by the lather, and it of course is quite subjective anyway; I'm just happy to have such great razors with which to play.
