Last month, Canada observed Thanksgiving. This month, it's the United States' turn. However, no matter where in the world our members hail from, may all of you have something to be thankful for during these incredibly difficult times, even if it's nothing more than that perfect shave (though I sincerely hope it's more than that).

Love, Laughter & Shaving
Love, Laughter & Shaving
Technically, this belongs in last week's SOTD thread, but I didn't want to follow HighSpeeds and GlazedBoker's post at the end with something as trivial as a SOTD post.
SOTN Saturday
prep - shower with Caprina Fresh Goat’s Milk with Shea Butter bar soap
razor - Gillette Long-Comb New
blade - Shaverboy Super Stainless (16)
brush - APShaveCo SynBad
soap - The Body Shop Maca Root cream (1st version)
post - warm water rinse, DSA “Pure & Natural” alum, cold water rinse
aftershave - RazoRock's Irish Countryside splash
music - streaming "Dorognoe" internet radio, from Usolye-Sibirskoye, Russia.
I don't really care for the bland scent of the Maca Root v1 cream, and it's turning into a lumpy croap by now, so I just used twice as much as usual to use it up faster.
What a lot of nice creamy lather, most of which went down the drain without making it to my face.
Like they say, "Load it like you hate it".
I got a BBS, but I really had to work at it, with 4 or 5 passes, because the blade is showing its age. Good thing I had lots of lather to play with.
About the music: If I was to guess from the arrangements, it sounded like Pop music from the '80s. All lyrics were in Russian, except for one track by Dire Straits and another by Gloria Gaynor.
I have no doubt it was all State-approved.

We could be Heroes, just for one day.
