SOTD 22-28 May 2016

Two GEM 1912's. I used the bronze one today. I am not sure that it is a 1912 because of its colour and long handle. Otherwise it is identical to the other one.
Shave: Pleasant 3 pass with touch up.
Blade: GEM Stainless.
Soap: Prorasso Green. My very first shaving soap and still a favourite.
Bowl: Yoresh Mickey Electric.
Brush: Omega Il Famoso Pennello (I don't know what it means. I might be the name).
Boar bristle. It is much softer than it used to be. I soaked it for 1/2 hour in my electric
bowl at 95F. Very nice but not my cuppa.

The RazoRock XXX along with the Bob "The Eskimo" Quinn Mokume-Gane Carbon and Red Copper brush (handsome devil) whipped up a great lather. The XXX scent is a fresh and clean; a cross between a classic Italian Colonia and an old-school barbershop. Touch off with the XXX aftershave splash and you get a near BBS.
