It was “Mammoth Monday,” with the announcement that availability through West Coast Shaving is just a few weeks away. This time I used v24 Pinky Swear. Paired it with Chatillon Lux Bon Vivant aftershave, and felt it was a splendid match.

The first time I used Tabac was way back in Nineteen-tickety-two (the Kaiser stole our word for twenty). Anyhoo, this was a very good shave. I'm still learning this razor, and I did get some weepers again, but it is getting better. I will stick to my very top performing lathrs to make this easier. I have way less irritation than yesterday.

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Stirling Ozark Mountain today. 20 seconds to load the Maggard 2-Band Badger brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Rapira Platinum Lux in the Gillette NEW SC. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Fine Platinum aftershave.
