soap - Cremo
post - warm water rinse, DSA “Pure & Natural” alum, cold water rinse
aftershave - Proraso Green splash
music - Radio Ndeke Luka

I haven't used Cremo for maybe two years, and thought I'd try it tonight without mixing it with a soap.
It does seem to work better if applied directly to your face without a brush (as per instructions), although I did use the brush at times to wet it some more.
The razor rinses off okay, but rinsing it off your face is another matter. I guess it's supposed to leave a layer of something to act as a post-shave moisturizer.

That EJ DE87 - I've had it for a few years now, but the more I use it, the more I like it. Almost as much as the Henson AL13 Mild.

At any rate, I got a nick-free BBS.

First time I used a cartridge in three years. And it was incredibly easy and gave me an awfully good shave.  Many hours later it still feels smooth all over. I’m feeling heretical right now. And a bit scared!!

I’ve gone back to fusion carts and my skin feels better than ever.

I still use a brush and soap, and traditional 3 pass technique.

Best shave ever!! Silky smooth.

I now use a DE once a week.
