ANOTHER FANTASTIC ETHOS SHAVE
Today's shave was my first use of the Ethos Bay Rum. I had been using another Bay Rum with synthetic ingredients. Ethos uses natural ingredients in the Bay Rum Formula. IMHO, it really makes a difference. The Ethos product is fantastic. The only downside is that the scent doesn't last long, so I may just have to buy the EDP. The slickness and protection given by the soap far outweighs the scent length. The scent strength in the jar is about a 7. The lather drops it to about a 4. The After Shave is a 7 initially. The Ethos products are turning me into a fanboy and I have the Saponificio Varesino as a comparison. Although not inexpensive, you get what you pay for with Ethos.
PRE: ETHOS PRE SHAVE (I was instructed to use just a light amount on the face and rub till a slight lather appears and then wet your hands and rub some more till the face is very hydrated. I did it and darn if it didn't make a difference in the shave. Thanks dtownvino)
BOWL: HC&C STAINLESS
BRUSH: OUMO EX DENS ST1
SOAP: ETHOS BAY RUM
RAZOR: LA FAULX ++
BLADE: FEATHER PRO (3)
POST: WARM RINSE AND WASH/ COLD RINSE, ALUM, WITCH HAZEL, THAYERS MILKY TONER
A/S: ETHOS BAY RUM
SCORE: 10/10. BBS. JUST A GREAT GREAT SHAVE
