A truly sublime shave this morning.  The ‘bird with a Feather blade (on its third go-around) is a “pinnacle” DE shaving tool.

Happy Shaves!

I have had the same thought.  Either that, or if it is not complicated, automate a banner that says "This week has passed/Are you posting an old shave?" or something along those lines, but briefer.  FWIW, I am chiming in partly because I just got done reading a post by one of my favorite SOTD posters:  It was about this morning's shave, but posted in last week's thread.

Guys, this has come up in the past with both members and moderators and is an ongoing problem.  I don't recall if andrewjs18 stated whether or not there was a workaround but I shall bring it up to the mods again.

Just so you know my reasoning, because we have members from all over the world, there is no one perfect time to post the new week's SOTD.  Living in San Diego, California as I do, I am in the Pacific time zone.  To try and make it as convenient as possible for as many members as possible, I usually post the new weekly SOTD at 4:00P.M. Pacific Standard or Daylight Savings Time on Saturday. (That can fluctuate between about 3:40 P.M. and 4:30 P.M. depending on whether or not I'm busy with something else or, frankly, I have forgotten.)  That makes it midnight in the United Kingdom and Portugal and either 1:00 A.M. or 2:00 A.M. in much of the rest of Western Europe where a significant number of our members live.  Therefore, while most of us in the United States and Canada are still sleeping our European friends can start posting and not have to wait for me to get my lazy self out of bed.  That also means that those of us in North America will have the new SOTD ready when those members get up or even for those who like to post their Sunday shave the night before.  Again, this is far from perfect and this probably isn't great for our members in Australia, New Zealand, or large parts of Asia and eastern Europe but it's the best I could come up with.

Again, I'll bring it up with Andrew, HoosierShave, Marko, and Matsilainen and we'll see if we can do anything about your concerns.

Freddy thanks for the info, I hadn't really thought about the time zones, as usually it is all about me Tongue ! But this makes perfect sense.
