Have to say pleasantly surprised how great of a shave I received with the Occam Full Open Comb paired with the Silver Blue. Nearly a BBS 1 pass shave, with minor touch-up along both sides of my jaw line.

Drug store disposable SE razor, LEA triple milled soap, Semogue 1305 brush.......

Surprisingly good results. Made conscious effort to not use pressure with the new but dull SE razor. This allowed me to get three passes w/o any weepers. In the past this shave always gets done with Cremo and the results are always sub par. So, I learned something: a good brush, good prep (used the bloom water as a pre-shave) and forced mindfulness about pressure control is more important than the quality of the blade. Also loaded the brush like crazy to make sure that I had a good lather.


Finished it off with Clubman Classic Vanilla
