This NOS vintage Le Grelot, circa 1970, arrived in today's Post. I couldn't wait to try it, and it appeared to have a shaveable edge, so I stropped it up and shaved half of my face. For the other side, I thought I could do better, so off to the stones we go, starting at square one, the 1K Chosera, and finishing on the La Veinnette. There is now a well defined edge. The other side of my face went better. These Hospital era Le Grelots take a wonderful edge .. at least to my taste..

Last shave for the I.Coloniali ... One of my favorites. I have a refill, but I'm going to hold off awhile while I explore other avenues...

First shave with the Darwin de and much to my wifes dismay it was an excellent shave and will remain in the den for the foreseeable future.
I had heard it wasn't great at ploughing through multiple days of growth but it sorted out 3 to 4 days of growth with comfort and ease. Sorry, Tapatalk is not allowing me to upload pics easily for some reason.
