This is a truly All-American shave. The pre shave butter was made in St. Louis 🇺?, the soap and splash in Cooperstown 🇺?, inspired by a very British novel, the brush handle in Grand Rapids 🇺?, I don't know where the knot was made, but I got it from a Canadian 🇨?. The razor was made in 🇺?, and the blade was made in Sweden 🇸🇪. The filter I used on the photo is inspired by a famous Japanese style of painting. This is an example of how people and things from all over make up America today. Have a Happy Independence Day!

Prep: Chatillon Lux butter (finished off the jar)
Soap: B&M 42
Brush: Brothers Bristles Bronze Shadow
Razor: Rockwell 6s R6
Blade: Rapira Super Stainless
AS: B&M 42

Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Bath-Gentleman
Soap: Martin de Candre Fougere
Razor: Gillette Black Handle Flare Tip Super Speed
Blade: Vintage Wilkinson Sword “Light Brigade” NEW Chromium (Shave #27)
Brush: John’s Brushes Silvertip-22mmx48mm
Aftershave: Country Club Frozen Vetiver

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

MdC Fougere today. 20 seconds to load the JB Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Wilkinson Sword “Light Brigade” in the Black Handle Flare Tip SS. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Country Club Frozen Vetiver aftershave.

After a couple less than stellar shaves I was reminded of the proper angle. Today's shave wasn't perfect (a couple nicks and weepers due to pressure), but it was super close with zero irritation. While the Sabre is mild (meaning very little blade feel), it certainly can be efficient with the proper angle.
