Hot shower
Razor : Blacklands Blackbird SS Satin finish.
Blade : Wizamet. (1)
Brush : Yaqi caramel cats whiskers synthetic.
Soap : Proraso Cypress & Vetyver.
Aftershave : Proraso Eucalyptus Menthol.
Weight : 94 grams.
Hi all,
A top shave this afternoon with the Blackbird SS I purchased the razor on BST on paste & cut.
I am still quite new to modern razors and like all of us I have had heard all the hype about the Blackbird and some of it is true.
1 It gives a great close shave.
2 It's build quality is very good (I know nothing about CNC machining).
3 Is it the grail of razors I can't say.
It's a very good razor I enjoyed using the it and this was my first time using this razor.
I think it will only get better with more use.

Cheers.

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Williams Mug Soap Challenge: Day 7

Great end-of-the-workweek-shave this morning. Great lather built with the Moon Soaps "Green Zebra" synth brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '58 Gillette Super Speed, and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by Mennen "Skin Bracer Wild Moss"" aftershave lotion, a dusting of Clubman talc and Rogue Perfumery "Mousse Illuminee" EdT.

Hope you have a great day. Smile
