This is one of my favorite Gillette razors. I had an early 3 pass shave with a good clean up. Everything worked very well. I haven't used Arko soap very much, but I was surprised how well it lathered.
Have to go to a meeting tonight that is why an earlier than usual shave.

Nicely done. Enjoy the meeting! I have a full tub of arko pressed into a stirling soap company green tub, full tub of arko in a soap commander tub (8oz) and a 16 oz tupperware container that is nearly full of arko shave stick!

Thank you for your kind words. I prefer the Arko stick in this type of container.

SOTD-05apr17:
Gillette Gold Tech / Iridium Super
Stirling 24mm Finest
WSP Formula T Black Amber Vanille
Captain's Choice Lather Bowl
Chatillon Lux Unconditional Surrender Aftershave

The WSP Formula T Black Amber Vanille scent is a little dark, a little sweet, and very nice. A couple of the WSP Formula T soaps that I have are a little on the light side for scent strength, but this one has plenty of strength(6.5/10.) I always get excellent performance from these soaps. I liked the scent so much that I almost wished I had picked up the aftershave, but Unconditional Surrender went with it very well. It's certainly not the same scent, but I thought it was a nice pairing.

I'm officially a fan of Jeeves of Hudson Street.  My prior experience was with their "Turkish Bath" soap which is a bit too powdery for my taste, but I continue to use the soap because the performance overrides any misgivings I may have with regard to the fragrance.  When I saw that they had a "Black Tea" soap, I figured it would be a good fit.  I anticipated it being a singular black tea fragrance, but I was very surprised with the accompaniment.  The mellow, slightly smoky, black tea is unmistakable, but gentle tobacco and citrus fill out the fragrance quite nicely. This is not the type of fragrance that packs a punch, so it's light by nature, but I would love to see this translated into an aftershave splash. Regardless, "Black Tea" is permanently in my rotation.
