Lavanille Saturday
Nice two pass shave today. I've decided to back off the neck with the straight razor for a while. I still did one pass on my cheeks with the 4/8 Torrey without drama - still not as close as the first pass with my Futur on five, but it is getting less awkward. My first strop should arrive today from Peter Charkalis' shop. Lavanille yielded very good lather, maybe a little too much water this time, but effective. I started and ended with Proraso White Pre/Post for the welcome cool and soothing. Lavanille Splash wrapped this shave up nicely, even if it burned a bit.

Got a very nice smoth shave this morning. Went with Cologne Russe, what a nice floral sweet scent. I think I prefer the scent in the soap rather than a aftershave. The soap whipped up a creamy lather with no effort. Really like these new tubs B&M have, low profile and nice and sturdy. The threads on the lid are perfect, easy to open & close. Hope everyone has a great shave!
