Received a Rubberset 400 #3 yesterday and went to work restoring it. Upon advise from other I decided to keep the original knot and I'm very happy I did.

First the brush.


Took it apart.



Cleaned it up.


Came out pretty well for a first cleaning.

I could not believe how well this brush performed right out of the gate. It whipped up a great lather and felt outstanding in my hand. This was a excellent start to a near BBS shave.

Hey Doug (semperfi 45), you did a fantastic job on that brush.
