Pretty good shave. Don't think the Derby Premium pairs well with the slant as it felt a little rough, but still had good results in the end.

Today I learned that I should be content with DE, and specifically the Futur. I have gotten great shaves from SE before, but not consistently like with the Futur. I got several weepers and some burn today. B&M Reserve Cool helped put out the fire, and Cologne Russe lent it's excellent scent.
Prep: Myrsol Emulsion
Soap: B&M Cologne Russe
Brush: Brothers Bristles Bronze Shadow
Razor: GEM Clog-pruf
Blade: GEM Stainless
AS: B&M Reserve Cool, B&M Cologne Russe

After 3 days of not being able to shave because of having carotid artery surgery, I was able to get back to it this morning. I'll only be able to shave my chin and cheeks for the next week or so, but that's better than not at all. And a hot shower felt great.

Very nice SOTD Jerry. Happy I can see a few water droplets on your Red Tip.
