I unfortunately ended up with a little irritation with this shave and it's been a while since that's happened.  The lather was beautifully silky and slick.  I haven't kept track of the number of shaves on this blade, so I think maybe it's passed it's prime.  The Soap Commander ASB calmed things down very quickly.  Now that's something I've become accustomed to from this product.  There's a lot of skin loving stuff in there!

A friend is letting me borrow the Wiborg and I am impressed. Could use a little more backbone but still a great knot. Reminds me quite a bit of my 28mm Romera fan shaped Manchurian. The handle is just beautiful.
The soap is very good. A bright, earthy scent that went incredibly well with Sherlock and the Guerlain. I will be grabbing a full tub or two of this stuff soon enough.

Tabacstag!
I tried going on a slant during my WTG pass and it worked great. Tabac provided optimal lather, as usual, and the Koeller Paramount glided easily through my stubble. I did get a couple weepers on my neck as I continue building my technique there. Overall, my face feels great. Tabac aftershave is underrated - it does have alcohol, but is also very soothing and toning to me.

What a great shave. Have been using some other new and wonderful soap acquisitions lately based on the recommendations of friends here at DFS and they have all been solid. T+S Grog this morning reminded me of just how great this soap formula is...
