Prep -    Woods Of Windsor Cedar Woods soap / Pre-lather / 3 min steam
Razor -   Gillette Fatboy
Blade -   Gillette Silver Blue (#3)
Brush -   Shavemac Raptor 26/52 DO1 3 Band Bulb
Soap -    Mystic Water Bergamot, Cedarwood & Juniper
After -     Floid Mentolado Vigoroso
Result -   Just..........unbelievable!

I thought my best DE shave had passed, turns out I was wrong. Previously, only a GEM Clog Pruf left me this close, and so comfortably. I can't even see where the stubble normally is. This soap and after shave are new to me but my skin had never felt or looked better.

I wish I were there.

Been a little while since I have been on here. New brush and soap today.

Chatillon Lux Pre Shave Butter
Wolfman SB
Feather
Zenith B03 Boar
CRSW Oliva Summer Rose
Chatillon Lux Alexander's Rose Toner
Lalique Faune

I am trying to find a boar brush I rally enjoy. So far I really don't like Semogues and Omegas are alright. After one use of the Zenith I am pretty hopeful. Nothing will replace my badgers but it's nice for a change of pace. The soap. I never had an urge to use any CRSW soap. None of the scents really stood out and there were a couple of other reasons but I am a sucker for rose and was really curious about the Oliva base. Holy crap!!! it lathered maybe as fast and good as anything I have used. There was no proto lather stage just almost perfect lather instantly. Truly impressed. The scent is great, if you like rose.

Took a bit of practice but got there anyway. Would take any advice you have on lathering! I'd wanted this particular one on the advice for oily skin. The post shave feel is about the best there is.

You can PM me any time you want. Shy

Razor: Timeless OC w/TRH1 handle
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (2)
Brush: LE DFS Envy White w/Aluminum Color, Anodized Dark Bronze
Soap: Route 66 Barber Shop Hop.
A/S: Lucky Tiger Disappearing Cream

Another excellent shave today. I'll probably change handles tomorrow to see what a lighter handle provides. Barber Shop Hop soap is nostalgic stroll down memory lane with this light, clean, slightly sharp powdery fragrance. Bright orange zest, mingled with hints of aromatic spices reminiscent of a splash of aftershave in a traditional barbershop. This soap is long lasting, slick lather protective cushion and glide soothing post shave conditioning.

Wonderful image Doug! Look forward to your thoughts on the lighter handle. I used a Ti handle earlier in the week and found that it didn't suit me with this head so switched back. Please do keep us posted!

Blade: Personna 74 (D10)
Brush: Vie-Long Epsilon Horn 27mm Horse Hair
Bowl: Buffalo Horn 5"
Pre Shave Scrub: MRGLO
Pre Shave Oil: Jasmine Creamsicle
Shave Soap: Beaver WoodWright Thomas Tew

Aftershave: Beaver WoodWright Thomas Tew

Great picture of excellent products Guy. I also like the special effects.  Happy2

Thanks Doug.

Have to confess that I am amazed that this $19 DeFitch Df91 provided a two pass BBS shave with no touchups. Just the 3rd time using this razor and same results each time with 3 different blades. Not to mention Thomas Tew is my favorite summertime scent!

Thanks Guy, good to know. What is the prevailing scent of that soap?
