Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.
Great shave this morning. Returned to Taylor of Old Bond Street and their excellent "Lime Zest" shave cream. Great scent and fantastic lather built with the Paladin "Chief" 2-band select badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the Gillette Red Tip and I finished with the matching vintage Shulton "Old Spice" ASL & EdC.
Hope you have a great day.

Just a quick shave prior to a foreign language movie fundraiser.
Soap: Cella Crema Sapone Professionale (boungiorno sandalo)
Brush: Omega Puro Tasso black badger
Razor: Pearl "The Sleek" SE (modified)
Blade: SilverMax SE
Bowl: Fine Accoutrements
A/S: Clubman Classic Vanilla
Three passes, no cuts or weepers, etc. DFS. Could have been a little better on my chin but this blade is really, really old. Seems to have reached a point where it is just not degrading anymore. Is that possible? Is blade degradation non-linear (calling RayClem! ). Amazing difference between this shave and my previous shave with Cremo and a Walgreen's disposable SE. Night and day difference-equipment not radically different. At least in the same genus?
