Something new today...didn’t shower before this morning’s shave. Showered last night, before bed...
So, began with a nice hot water wash using my usual cool blue Neutrogena face wash for men, gently cleaning and exfoliating with a thick sponge.
Because I wasn’t sure just how much that alone would soften 2-day whisker growth, I also liberally applied my Cremo cool shave cream as a pre shave. Compliments the wash with even more mentholated coolness, and the smell is great too!
Gave the new Karve a break today, and whipped out the Paradigm 17-4. Second use of a Gillette Silver Blue blade (a blade I rarely use) inside.
Loaded up the brush with B&M’s Seville (just love the scent on this wonderful soap), and face lathered, instead of the usual bowl lathering routine. Again, no shower first meant the brush wasn’t soaking while I do, normally, so I skipped the bowl work.
Also figured additional beard softening would result from working the lather up, and into the whiskers. Seems to have worked pretty well!
After the standard alum, rinses, and Thayer’s...I splashed on the matching Seville AS.
Wish I could get that scent in a cologne...really nice stuff!
Terrific shave from a slightly new approach
Enjoy the day gentlemen...

Have been trying out some Noble Otter soaps and the Wolfman Guerrilla stainless open comb over the past few days. Impressions have been very favorable.
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”
