Catie’s Bubbles LTV today. 20 seconds to load the Honey Farm/TGN Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Personna 74 Tungsten still in the Gillette NEW Short Comb. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Highlands aftershave.

Razor: Paradigm 17-4
Blade: Nacet (3)
Soap: Grooming Dept Coat Tails
Aftershave: B&M Eventide Tonique
Brush: Paladin Vesuvius Chief
Comments: It is apparent from the ingredient mix that Coat Tails is not like the others in Mohammad's lineup. It is a very soft soap, and some caution needs to be exercised when loading. Scent-wise, this is a vetiver and saffron forward scent, with oud in the background and a touch of clove. One can expect a less divisive scent compared to Amber Oud. As with other soaps in Mohammad's offering, Coat Tails has a high level of water tolerance. However, the lather texture in Coat Tails seems to be slightly heavier, and feels more protective as a consequence - I suspect that these qualities are due to the addition of coconut oil, an ingredient that is absent in his other soaps. On the flip side, coconut oil makes the post-shave a little more "drying." Overall, I believe that Mohammad has paid very decent homage to the classic Italian soap formula, and I had a very enjoyable shave today.
