The Karve F base plate was too edgy for me to shave, however, it's a little bit smoother than normal and this feels a bit over the top of the Muhle R41, it's not ideal for someone who has a thin, hollow or skinny face to used the Karve F base plate because you will get a lot more irritation during the shave if you're not careful with your angle. The F base plate might be better for someone who has an average or round typeface (chubby) can shave the F base plate without any further issue, because is easier to maneuver and you might get less irritation for those who like more blade feel or edgy feel while is still a bit smoother to shave than the Muhle R41. Is not a very aggressive shave like a Muhle R41, but, it does feel a bit edgier than an R41, I hope this makes sense to you because I can't really explain the correct way.
Also furthermore the F base feels a lot edgier than the Rockwell R6, so I gave myself a second try today using the Karve F base plate and I must say it's too edgy for me and my face, I've decided to step back a bit and used the E base plate during my next shave because the D base plate is my sweet spot on the Karve razor.
