Today's shave was delightful - made delightful in significant part by a new-to-me GEM Ever-Ready Razor and Case that I picked up from Patriot on the BST. I already own an Ever-Ready, but not nearly as well-kept as this, and not with a case. This one is even more beautiful than my photo shows, and Patriot kindly included a bunch of PTFE blades and a pair of carbon steels, in addition to the two Ever-Ready blades that came in the blade holder. -- Thank you Patriot!
That does look like a remarkable razor and case!

Great shaves!Thank you for this dialogue on your SOTD! I was miserable with the 85mm handle. My razor is a handsome piece of steel, I couldn’t bring myself to sell it. Sat in the drawer for well over a year. Got the 101mm and it’s top 5. Love the weight. The razor does everything, my fingers only guide it with a lite touch. Those that speak of its blade feel and aggressiveness, just not true for “ME” and I’m not an everyday shaver, I have nothing to shave after a day or two, or 3 sometimes lol. If Shane does a 101 in Ti, I’ll make that purchase, otherwise, I’m more than satisfied with my polished! Cheers!
