A little under the weather the last few day. Been sleeping a lot which is my way of dealing with sickness or burnout.

That does it for me too.

Except at 83 I am beginning to think I am Rip Van Winkle.

RAZOR: GEM Micromatic Bullet. Excellent.
BLADE: GEM PTFE. 4th shave. Disappointing.
PASSES: 3 + Touch up. Lots of touch upping.
SHAVE: Ech! N.D.G.
AFTER SHAVE: Gillette Cool Wave After Shave Splash. Dreadful.

Please explain why the GEM PTFE was "disappointing". Was it just past its prime?
Also, what does "N.D.G." stand for?
Finally, what made the splash "dreadful"? Did the scent turn you off, or was it the performance?
