Wholly Kaw Saturday
This was a solid shave. I went very slow and careful with the feather installed on the R6 plate. I got one small weeper on my neck, but otherwise it went well. The toner leaves my skin feeling a little tight and soft, but the scent fades quickly on me.
Prep: Chatillon Lux butter
Soap: Wholly Kaw Monaco Royale Donkey
Brush: Wild West Go Green
Blade: Feather ?
AS: Wholly Kaw Monaco Royale Toner

1931 Wardonia with BIC CP blade. Fitting a modern blade takes a few snips but definitely worth the trouble. Comfortable, efficient.[Image: 57c595fe6bdffb5cc807b94051def64f.jpg]

Prep - Hot towel
Pre shave - Prep
Razor – ‘The Rock’ (Rockwell 6S – #3)
Blade – Gillette Silver Blue
Brush - ‘Il Cinghiale’ (Zenith EURO/RX)
Soap – Lebelle Soaps: Tobac Vanille
Post - Cold water rinse / Barrister & Mann: Latha Taiga Post-Shave Splash

well, after receiving my Zenith EURO/RX Boar, and Lebelle Soaps: Tobac Vanille from tvbshaving, I couldn't wait to give 'em a spin..... well, ‘Il Cinghiale’ made easy work of the Lebelle Soap, quickly whipping it into a thick, rich, moist lather which provided a slick, and impressive foundation... this will be a very impressive combo, once the Zenith has settled down, as it was quite scritchy. Yeah, looking forward to my future shaves with this combo, as they will only get better.

I'm again in a boar loop. Perhaps it's that I love pork in all its forms and shapes, be it on the grill, in a stew, or particularly if it's our Iberian Black variety with a good red wine along. Makes sense that I loved my boar brushes and this Semogue is becoming my favourite. Three passes with my Contour left a BBS face with no incidents, with a soap that is the best choice to brighten up your senses in a warm summer morning. First use of this shaving balm by "Jabones by Luna". Similar consistency to Bulldog, better performance IMHO. It has that "natural" feel to it, in the sense that you can tell that there are no chemicals in it. In fact, it's supposed to be used within a relatively short span, a few months in this case. I liked it a lot, but to me, it seems that it is better suited for colder weather, which is no problem whatsover, colder weather is just around the corner.

- Stirling Gin&Tonic Menthol
- Semogue 1305
- 1979 Gillette Contour
- Speick+"Jabones by Luna" shaving balm

Congratulations to your granddaughter, Doug.  Talent and beauty. Happy2  I'm leaving for Scotland in a week and a half and always try to get to Stirling.  I believe the city of Stirling is the tie-in with ezlovan's Stirling Soap Co. name.
