I have been a tester for Lee's soap since the beginning. I've always said the performance is great. Today, however, it seemed even better. The best I can describe it is that the lather just seemed smoother and so did my face afterwards. Also, I was pleased to find no irritation with this scent. I initially thought it would be too floral for me, but upon lathering the woodsy side of it came out and I quite enjoyed it.

Back to one of the classics for this cooling shave as it's warm in the UK today.

SOTD 7-18-15

Comments: Almost an exact repeat of the SOTD on 7-16-15. Again I tried to use the Torrey for the whole shave but I just couldn't get the rough areas like jawline, chin and upper lip close enough. I did fine with the neck area though! I used the Wolfman razor (open comb side) for a cleanup pass in those areas listed earlier! One weeper and no irritation today and I ended up with a DFS shave but not BBS. No issues with the soap as it lathers easy and gave me very good protection throughout the shave. I still don't think the lather was quite good enough but will work on that. All in all, it was a very good shave today but could have been better!

Please feel free to leave comments on any items used as I enjoy reading them to see what others say about the gear I am using/trying out! Of course, YMMV!

Thx.

I have been straight razor shaving for three months and I still start the first two passes with the straight and use my DE for the clean up pass. Shave at your pace, it is coming together for me as I am sure it will for you..
