Arachnid companion: Herpyllus ecclesiasticus - aka Eastern Parson Spider, running back and forth on the wall around and behind the mirror. 



He/she ran remarkably quickly. I was lucky to get an unblurry photo. 
Even with that distraction, the shave turned out pretty good. Close, and no weepers.
